In a world witnessing rapid transformations at social, cultural, political, and economic levels, there emerges an urgent need for a deeper understanding of human phenomena and precise analysis of the relationships and interactions that form the fabric of societies. From this standpoint, the International Foundation of Beacons of Intellect is pleased to announce to researchers, academics, and those interested in humanities and social sciences the publication of the first issue of "Dalail Journal for Humanities" in January 2025. This is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published in partnership with the Research Team in Education, Languages, and Cultures at Moulay Ismail University in Meknes, Kingdom of Morocco. The journal represents a prestigious academic platform that seeks to enhance scientific dialogue, publish original research, and encourage critical thinking in various branches of social sciences and humanities.
From here, the journal aims as a collective knowledge project to restore the position of social sciences and humanities as essential tools for understanding the self and the other, decoding societies, and anticipating the future of humanity in times of major transformations. We do not merely describe phenomena, but delve into their depths; we do not just record facts, but analyze their contexts, question their causes, and explore their effects.
The journal aims to provide an open space for researchers, thinkers, and interested parties from various parts of the Arab world and beyond, to publish their field and theoretical studies that contribute to enriching human knowledge and exploring new horizons for research and analysis. Its interests include - but are not limited to - fields such as: sociology, anthropology, philosophy, history, psychology, political science, cultural studies, education, linguistics, Islamic studies, and other disciplines that touch the essence of humans and their relationship with themselves and others.
The journal seeks to be an intellectual beacon that combines theoretical depth with field precision, authenticity with modernity, and locality with universality. We open our doors to researchers from various sub-disciplines: from sociology that deconstructs society structures, to anthropology that explores cultures, through philosophy that questions foundations, history that reconstructs memory, political science that analyzes power, psychology that delves into the self, cultural studies that read texts and contexts, education that shapes generations, linguistics that decodes discourse, Islamic studies that redefine concepts from a legal perspective... and other disciplines that touch humans from multiple angles.
The journal is based on its commitment to academic quality, scientific transparency, and research ethics, subjecting all contributions to a rigorous peer-review process by specialized experts to ensure intellectual integrity and methodological accuracy. It also seeks to build bridges of cooperation between academic institutions, encourage young researchers, and disseminate knowledge in a rigorous scientific language open to all.
We believe that social sciences and humanities are not merely intellectual luxury, but essential tools for understanding the complexities of reality and building societies that are more aware, just, and humane. We welcome your contributions, discussions, and visions, because true knowledge is built through dialogue and flourishes through participation; human knowledge is not an intellectual luxury, but an existential necessity for building worlds that are more just, aware, and humane.
In conclusion; we promise Dalail readers that subsequent issues will be more diverse and richer, and we invite all interested researchers and specialized scholars to participate in the journal with their valuable research and rigorous scientific articles, to be their sought platform and desired arena to achieve our common goals.
